Ooredoo launches ‘Happy Data’ flash promotion

Ooredoo has announced a new promotion that will provide Hala and Shahry customers with up to six times their data allowance when they activate a “data recharge.”
The “Happy Data” flash promotion, which will be available until tomorrow, will give customers up to 90GB of data for the price of a 15GB data recharge by simply topping-up their account with a data recharge via the Ooredoo App, Mobile Money App, website, self-service machine, or purchasing a data card or e-Voucher from Ooredoo shops and authorised dealers.
With the new offer, customers who buy and activate a 250MB data recharge will get two times the data, 1GB data top-ups will get three times the data, 3GB recharges will get four times, 6GB top-ups will get five times the data, and 15GB top-ups will get six times the data – 90GB data for QR200.
All “extra data” will be valid for 30 days once the top-up has been activated during the promotional dates.
The promotion was designed to give customers more chances to enjoy the incredible speeds of the Ooredoo Supernet for less, as Ooredoo continues to enrich people’s lives with its 3G, 4G, and 4G+ networks throughout Qatar.
The Ooredoo App and Ooredoo Money App are available for free download on the iTunes Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android) now.

Meanwhile, Ooredoo has announced plans to continue the transformation of the customer experience in its shops, by introducing new smart solutions to give more control over accounts and greater access to a full range of products and services.
One of Ooredoo’s most successful recent innovations has been the launch of the Smart Queue Management Solution, which enables customers to be served quickly by taking a queue token via the Ooredoo App before arriving at the Ooredoo Shop. The service also allows users to see the number of waiting people in any shop.
Ooredoo will have a special queuing process for Al Nokhba customers, to offer extra rewards for the company’s high-end customer base.
First introduced as a pilot in Ooredoo’s Airport Road and Landmark Shops, the digital innovation has been so successful in reducing the customer waiting time – that it led Ooredoo to roll-out the new solution in shops across the country.
The app has been developed as part of the company’s vision to have a fully digital, paperless and Smart Queue Management Solution in Ooredoo Shops. Ooredoo will educate customers to utilise the queue feature via the app in Ooredoo Shops to ensure quicker and more effective future visits.
Fatima Sultan al-Kuwari, Community and Public Relations director, Ooredoo, said: “Ooredoo is moving towards being one of the leading companies in delivering the best customer experience.”
Ooredoo is also planning an overhaul of its current website, streamlining product pages and services to enhance the experience and ensure all customers fully-understand the services available for them.
The mobile app is available for free download on the iTunes Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android) now. Customers can also visit www.ooredoo.qa for more details.
