Mannai Auto has unveiled a range of luxury performance cars from Cadillac at the ongoing Qatar Motor Show 2016 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre.
Mohamed Helmy, group general manager at Mannai Auto, said visitors to the Cadillac stand will be able to discover the 2017 CT6, 2017 XT5, 2016 ATS-V Sedan and Coupe, and the 2016 Escalade ESV.
“Cadillac’s expanded and elevated portfolio combines an elegant blend of luxury and performance, and delivers greater versatility for customers who identify closely with the Cadillac brand,” Helmy said.
Felix Weller, Cadillac Middle East managing director, said: “Our growing line-up reflects our mission to offer luxury-driven customers, who truly identify with Cadillac’s bold self-expression, a wider offering of vehicles that encapsulate the true essence of Cadillac. These new models promise enhancements in performance, design, efficiency, and connectivity – all delivered in a fashion that is uniquely Cadillac.”
The 2017 XT5 is the cornerstone of a new series of Cadillac crossovers, all bearing the “XT” designation – with each number indicating relative size and position. The XT5 succeeds the current SRX, Cadillac’s best-selling product line worldwide.
The XT5 crossover was crafted with a flexible interior filled with advanced features to help keep drivers and passengers comfortable and connected, and sharp exterior lines that make a striking statement.
Also making its Qatar debut at the Motor Show is the range-topping 2017 Cadillac CT6 prestige sedan. The CT6 expands the Cadillac portfolio and introduces greater agility and efficiency to the realm of prestige cars.
Larger and more spacious than any current Cadillac sedan, the CT6 will be the lightest and most agile sedan in its class. It is a true rear-wheel drive car, with a dramatic dash-to-axle ratio offering classic long and low proportions and luxury presence.
New technologies increase driver vision, connectivity and control, including Cadillac’s Magnetic Ride Control and a new active 4-wheel steering system for superb agility. A range of new engines includes the all-new Cadillac Twin Turbo engine that rewards with power on demand.
