Lincoln models exude ‘quiet luxury’

Lincoln and Almana Motors Company has launched the MKX midsize luxury SUV in Qatar alongside the MKZ saloon at the Lincoln stand at the ongoing Qatar Motor Show 2016 at the Doha Exhibition & Convention Centre.
“Exuding ‘quiet luxury’ – a luxury that is elegant, effortlessly powerful, and serene – Lincoln models continue to quietly exceed customers’ expectations, rather than being the loudest statement on the road,” it was announced in a press release.
Lincoln’s presence at the Qatar Motor Show highlights the importance the marque places in the region, and by bringing the new MKX to the stand, it provides “a distinct automotive experience by providing a new, unique, and elegant level of experience to the market.”
“We are focused on delivering distinct products that are engineered around the people inside them. Here in the Middle East, it’s important that we are part of a buyer’s consideration list, and we think our existing line-up, paired with our future products, gives us a compelling story to tell,” said Alex Schaeffer, head of Lincoln Middle East.
The exterior of the MKX luxury midsize SUV embodies elegance in motion, complemented by a dramatic design with a modern, contemporary silhouette and well-balanced proportions.
The interior design blends functionality with fluid, flowing forms to inspire a sense of luxurious adventure. Powered by the 2.7-litre twin-turbocharged Ti-VCT EcoBoost V6, the MKX also comes with a line-up of innovative features, including a revolutionary 360 degree camera and state-of-the-art Revel audio system.
Lincoln’s four-door MKZ saloon includes key standard equipment such as the 2.0-litre EcoBoost engine, intelligent access with push-button start, SYNC with MyLincoln Touch driver connect technology, and an available retractable panoramic roof that offers a 15.2sft glass panel and the largest rooftop opening available in the saloon class. Producing 277lb-ft of torque at 4,000 rpm, Lincoln’s 3.7-litre fully aspirated V6 engine is also available on the MKZ.
