Wathnan Mall marks fifth anniversary

Qatar’s family shopping mall, Wathnan Mall, has announced the celebration of its fifth anniversary, along with Masskar Hypermarket and Zarabi Department Store.
The celebrations kicked-off on February 1 and will extend up to February 5. As part of the celebrations, the mall has prepared various interesting competitions for kids.
The anniversary was highlighted by the longest kunafa, spanning 10 metres long, and was served to customers and visitors. Other highlights of the event include exciting offers and interesting competitions held daily until February 5.
Masskar Hypermarket has launched the “Buy from Masskar…Grab from Zarabi offer” where customers receive a QR100 gift voucher for every purchase of more than QR500 from Masskar Hypermarket.
The offer is valid on all items sold at Masskar and the gift voucher can be redeemed at the garments and footwear section in Zarabi.
As part of the celebrations, Zarabi Department Store is offering a QR100 gift voucher for purchases worth QR200 spent at the garments and footwear section, where the items can be redeemed.
Masskar and Zarabi are also providing world-class brands at affordable prices ranging from fresh food to electronics through the “Best Deal” offers, which are announced every evening. Most of the other shops in the mall will also join the celebrations by giving exciting offers to their customers, Wathnan Mall said.
When Wathnan Mall was established in 2011 as a family mall, the whole concept of a family mall was new in Qatar. From 5am, the mall is open daily to the general public until 3pm. From 3pm onwards, only families are allowed inside the mall.
By providing a shopping atmosphere where families can shop with peace of mind, it has become a preferred shopping destination for families in Qatar. Wathnan features four prayer halls in the ground and first floors, in addition to a big mosque in the second floor. It also has four ATMs to serve thousands of customers, who visit the 89 shops in the mall daily.
By offering quality products at reasonable prices, Masskar has become a part of the families living in Qatar.
Masskar aims to procure best quality products from the source of origin and to provide the market with the most reasonable prices throughout the year. One example is salmon fish, which used to be found only in 5-star hotel menus.
Masskar opens at 5am and operates until 1am, providing customers convenient timings. The whole team is run by professionals, who carry rich experience in retail business. It is led by general manager Thaha Mohamed, who is a graduate from Harvard Business School.
Zarabi Department Store has become a household name by bringing products that match the preferences of local customers from different parts of the world.
To add sweetness to the lives of families in Qatar with the highest quality but at affordable prices, Khan Al Kunafa, an Arabic specialty sweet shop, recently opened in Wathnan.
Kunooz Al Salahi, one of the largest jewellery shops in Qatar, attracts many customers, who want to choose from a wide collection of ornaments and designs that suit
Arabic taste.
