LuLu Hypermarket, Al Gharaffa, is all set to host for the first time in Qatar the children’s all-time hero ‘Fireman Sam’ today at 6pm.
The visitor will interact and greet the children until 9pm. LuLu has organised the event in association with Simbo Toys Qatar, and the Civil Defense Department of the State of Qatar has also joined the event with their awareness programmes for the benefit of the general public.
Fireman Sam toys are internationally well-accepted among the children.
The legend of the Fireman Sam has originated from two ex-firemen from Kent (UK), Dave Gingell and Dave Jones. They approached Mike Young, who assisted them to further develop the concept.
The character not only teaches invaluable lessons on fire safety to young viewers, but reinforces the importance of staying calm during an emergency.
In line with the visit of Fireman Sam, LuLu outlets have arranged the display of wide range of Fireman Sam toys.
