Brigadier al-Malki said: “Road safety is a crucial area of interest in Qatar that requires careful planning and long-term focus. This can be realised through research and case studies in collaboration with government and private organisations. QRSSC is a leading centre in Qatar that contributes to advancing a culture of traffic safety within the community and providing decision- and policy-makers with sustainable solutions.”
Dr al-Khalifa said: “It is part of a series of forums that bring together key partners to advance dialogue on road and traffic safety strategies that are responsive to national priorities and challenges. It also reflects the centre’s mission to highlight ongoing developments in the country’s road transportation system as well as to promote community awareness on the need to decrease accidents.”
