Ooredoo has announced it will continue its collaboration with How Women Work (HWW) as a strategic partner of the annual ‘How Women Work Conference’ for the third year running.
The conference helps empower women in Qatar, both personally and professionally, and the seventh edition will be held on March 8-9 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel Doha, to coincide with International Women’s Day, which is celebrated annually worldwide on March 8.
Ooredoo has been the strategic partner of HWW since 2014, and seeks to champion women as part of the company’s commitment to enrich people’s lives and support the human development pillar of Qatar National Vision 2030.
Ooredoo’s Community and Public Relations director Fatima Sultan al-Kuwari said: “Empowering women in Qatar is one of our main areas of CSR focus and by creating an open dialogue at events such as these, we can help educate and empower women about the opportunities available to them. This strategic partnership with How Women Work, alongside our own initiatives, is a key element in reaching Qatar National Vision 2030.”

This event will mark the last conference under the leadership of Zeitler, who will be handing the brand over to its new owner during the conference.
The annual conference is an interactive, inspiring and empowering two-day event, where participants attend various workshops and presentations. These in turn encourage interaction, inspire exploration and empower continuous growth, both on the personal and professional level.
This year’s conference is centered on the theme, Connecting the Dots.
HWW also has a series of ongoing learning and development events that run year round, including ‘How Women Find Work’ and ‘How Women Thrive Amongst Men’, as well as the monthly workshop series ‘Equipped to Succeed’, the Mastermind and Soul Sisters groups and the CSR book project ‘How Women Succeed’.
Currently, the HWW community includes leaders, employees, executives, business owners, entrepreneurs, graduates and students, as well as women who are looking to enter the workforce.
