Qatar condemns settlers’ actions
Qatar has strongly condemned the continuous storming of Al Aqsa Mosque by groups of settlers under the protection of occupation forces and the continuing arbitrary measures against worshippers.
In a statement issued yesterday, the Foreign Ministry said the violation of the sanctity of Al Aqsa Mosque is a violation of the feelings of all Arabs and Muslims, stressing that the provocative tours in Al Aqsa Mosque would lead to greater feelings of hostility, and contribute to fuelling violence in the region.
Strong winds expected today
Strong winds are expected in some parts of the country in the early hours today, the Qatar Met department has said.
Offshore areas, too, are likely to see strong winds along with high seas. The forecast says inshore areas will see moderate temperatures during the day as well as slight dust and a cold night. The wind speed may go up to 22 knots in some places at first.
