Quality Group International, a leading business group in Qatar, inaugurated their fully automatic food packing unit at the retail food distribution centre in Doha Industrial Area.
Group chairman Shamsudheen Olakara switched on the machine in the presence of senior officials from various departments of the company.
“Quality Group is going to import high quality food products to Qatar and will distribute them under the brand name Q-fine with a reasonable price,” he said.
The hi-tech machine imported from Taiwan is described as a rare model in the Gulf region and the latest in Qatar. The packing unit is equipped with a highly advanced multi-head and incline conveyor. The system will finish the entire process automatically, including feeding, weighing, bag filling, sealing and finished product conveying.
The machine with 14 heads can pack 50 to 60 bags of 5kg in a minute. Barcode, the date of production, country of production, expiry and other details related to the products will be printed by the machine.
“High accuracy with less manpower is the salient feature of this most advanced equipment,” Olakara added.
