Oryx GTL celebrated National Sport Day at Al Kharaitiyat Sports Club.
The company organised a number of sports events and activities on the occasion, in co-operation with Al Kharaitiyat Sports Club, which were attended by employees of the company and their families.
These events include activities for senior and junior employees of the company, their families and inhabitants of the district, such as soccer, volleyball, basketball, cricket and table tennis, in addition to several sporting activities for children.
Moreover, support services - such as medical and security services - have been offered to ensure the safety of all participants. An area has also been allocated for conducting medical checkups, including tests for blood pressure, sugar level and body mass index.
“Oryx GTL is proud of its effective contribution to National Sport Day and its participation in pushing the wheel of development by being a part of these sports activities. The company believes that such events enhance the efforts of the State, whose purpose is to spread awareness of sports among members of the society so that they can enjoy a better life,” according to a statement.
