HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani meeting with the former president of Turkey, Abdullah Gul, in Istanbul yesterday morning. The Emir offered condolences to Gul on the death of his father-in-law, Ahmet Ozyurt, praying to Allah Almighty to rest his soul in peace. The Emir left Istanbul yesterday afternoon, concluding a working visit to Turkey. The Emir was seen off at Ataturk International Airport by Qatar’s ambassador to Turkey, Salem bin Mubarak al-Shafi, a number of senior Turkish officials and members of the Qatari embassy. On Friday, the Emir had discussed the latest regional and international developments with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
