A Doha Criminal Court has sentenced eight Nepalese men to two months in jail for attacking others and disturbing peace while being intoxicated, local Arabic daily Arrayah reported on Sunday.
According to testimony of the witnesses, who were the co-workers and accommodation mates, the defendants were clearly intoxicated when they attacked their victims at the gate of the housing.
The defendants also injured four of their colleagues rendering them indisposed for a period of less than 20 days. The witnesses said though they asked the defendants to go away but they refused and fought with them.
