Ooredoo sponsors Al Khor Fly-In

Ooredoo is sponsoring the ninth annual Al Khor Fly-In, which will take place at Al Khor Airport on Friday and Saturday.
This is the third year running that Ooredoo has sponsored the annual event, which attracts a large crowd of families and aviation fans.
The Al Khor Fly-In is an open event organised by owners of light aircraft, which promotes the sport of flying to the general public and welcomes pilots from Qatar and across the GCC.
At the event, which began in 2008, promoting aviation as a hobby for young people, visitors can see a range of light aircraft on display, as well as interact with the pilots.
Al Khor Airport is located 31km north of Doha, and to the east of the Al Khor coastal road. The event will be open to the public from 8am to 5.30pm and entrance will be free of charge.
As part of its sponsorship, Ooredoo will host a booth at the event, offering information and services such as Mobile Money, Hala Top-Ups and giveaways for children.
Ooredoo chief operations officer Yousuf Abdulla al-Kubaisi, who is set to attend the opening event on Friday, said the company continues to support sports and hobbies that motivate and engage young people.
“This fun-filled aviation event is a great example of a community initiative with a message.”
