Boeing, the world’s largest aerospace company and leading manufacturer of commercial jetliners and defence, space and security systems, will provide technical support to Qatar University College of Engineering (QU-CENG) to build unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for air quality monitoring. A group of 24 undergraduate students from QU-CENG will benefit from the collaboration with Boeing. During the project, which runs until May 29, they are required to build a fixed-wing UAV to be fitted with air quality health monitoring sensors (see page 1).
