Almoe AV Solutions (Qatar), part of the Dubai-headquartered Almoe Group, has held its first Dealer Meet following its arrival in Qatar a few years ago. Held in Doha last week, the event saw the participation of Qatar’s leading IT and AV dealers. The company used the opportunity to “familiarise the participants with its pre-eminent status among its peers in the GCC states and its intent to replicate its reputation as the preferred choice not only among channel partners and resellers, but also across the education, hospitality, government and retail sectors”, it said in a statement. In his opening speech, DS Krishna Murthy, general manager of Almoe Qatar, addressed the company’s resolve to accomplish this within the current year. Almoe’s specific plan of action to meet the needs of the burgeoning AV and IT solutions market in the region was elaborated upon in the presentations that followed. The event proved to be beneficial for both Almoe and its channel partners, as it gave participants an opportunity to update themselves on the range of products and services on offer, and also a platform to share their experiences and communicate their views on marketing and sales methods. The Almoe Group delivers audiovisual and IT solutions and has had a presence in the GCC for over 20 years with a current turnover exceeding $80mn. With its competencies in event production, wide screen displays, audio systems, light/trussing/rigging, content productions and live video streaming, along with IT product rentals, Almoe’s Qatar operations will also focus on AV productions and rentals to complement the country’s award nights, conferences, product launches, exhibitions, sporting events, etc, the statement added.
