The Nepalese community in Qatar got together for a musical concert at Shalimar Palace recently. The “LG Night Live” was attended by veteran artistes including Trishna Gurung and Sangharsa Band. A large number of other Nepalese singers and artistes also performed at the event. The performers included Santosh Pariyar, Nawraj Shrestha, Damodar Neupane, Shahrukh Sundas, Naren Khadka, Gautam Pariyar, Soniya Pandey, Yasoda Basnet, Srijana Gurung and Pakistani singer Javed Wazwa. Dancers from Nawa Prativa Cultural Group, Nepalese Cultural Center, and You & I Dance Group also performed. Folk singer Devika KC hosted the programme, while Non-Resident Nepalese Association patron Dev Kazi Dangol was the chief guest. About 500 people attended.
