Commercial Bank names winners of Reward Points Millionaire campaign

Commercial Bank has announced the grand prize winner and runner-up of its Reward Points Millionaire campaign.
Customers who spent a total of QR10,000 or more by using their Commercial Bank credit card during the campaign period ending on December 31, were automatically entered into a prize draw.
Commercial Bank customer S A M T Rasheed won the final grand prize of 1mn reward points, with L Taher winning 500,000 reward points in a separate draw for the second place.
To ensure that all its customers were rewarded during the campaign period, Commercial Bank also gifted double reward points on all local, international and e-commerce credit card purchases until the end of 2015 in order to thank customers for their loyalty in using the bank’s products and services, according to a statement.
Commercial Bank reward points can be redeemed through the bank’s loyalty programme, allowing customers to redeem their points for flights to any destination, at any time, with no blackout dates.
Alternatively, customers can redeem their reward points for instant discounts at stores such as Sharaf DG, Ikea, Virgin, Damas, 51 East and more.
Dean Proctor, EGM, chief consumer and private banking, said: “I congratulate our grand prize winner and runner-up on their reward point prizes of 1mn reward points and 500,000 rewards points, respectively. This first-of-its-kind initiative has been successful in both securing new credit card customers and encouraging existing customers to use their Commercial Bank credit card for their everyday spending.
“By generously rewarding all our customers during the campaign period, we have also seen an increase in customers enrolling into our rewards programme portal, which allows them to view and redeem their reward points through any channel, whether that is through a PC, mobile or tablet, giving our customers the ultimate choice and flexibility.”
