Aspetar provides medical support at Qatar Total Open

Aspetar – the world’s leading orthopaedic and sports medicine hospital – is providing comprehensive medical services and support throughout the 2016 Qatar Total Open, which will conclude on Saturday, February 27.
Aspetar’s role at the event is the latest example of how it supports the success of every major, global sports championship that takes place in Qatar.
Aspetar will provide medical services and support for the duration of the championship. The hospital’s medical staff will be present on-site for each round of the championship, which takes place at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex.
The team from Aspetar comprises sports medicine physicians, nurses, podiatrists, on-site radiology services, as well as emergency medical technicians. The team will provide on-site first aid, intervention and support for serious injuries, as well as medical advice for those tennis stars involved in the tournament.
The provision of medical services and support at the Qatar Total Open builds on the long-term partnership between Aspetar and the Qatar Tennis Federation (QTF). To date, Aspetar has provided medical support at each of the tournaments hosted by the Federation.
Aspetar provides its medical and scientific capabilities to enable the world’s elite athletes, teams and clubs to train and compete at the highest possible level. It has become a destination of choice for the provision of medical services for international sport events, athletes and clubs from around the world.
