One of the leading lifestyle and shopping guides, My Book Qatar, has gone digital. As a popular provider of vouchers for high-end shopping, dining, health, fitness and lifestyle destinations in Doha, My Book Qatar launched its mobile application recently.
The app was launched in a glittering ceremony at Marriott Marquis City Centre Doha, attended by clients, partners and the media. My Book Qatar claims to have the most wide-ranging spread of participating merchants and outlets in the country, with a particular focus on the high end. They insist on enhancing the benefit from exceptional value for money with no compromise on quality.
All vouchers in My Book are valid until the end of 2016, so there is no rush to either get them or to use them. It is all about the customer’s convenience, they say. “We are celebrating a very important milestone for our company. We want to consolidate our presence in the market by having a lot of options, printed and digital and in the future I do not know what will follow,” Paula Cruz, Group Director, My Book Qatar told Community.
“But I know that we would be getting there. We want to create the trends and be ahead of the game. At the same time, this event is also to thank our clients, our merchants, our friends, people that participate and make this project happen because we cannot do it by ourselves,” she added.
At the end of the day, she said, they are a marketing platform that promotes businesses and they also help people to save money. They consider themselves as My Book, a lifestyle guide where you have options for all your daily basic things.
You can find dining options, you can find a dentist or a dermatologist. You can go to the gym and save money with us. “We promote businesses and at the same time we bring clients who will be satisfied by trying something new and at the same time they will save money,” Cruz added.
The app is just a digital version of the book. All the options from the book are there on the app. It is just a closest thing for people to get offers in hand. The book is not that easy to carry all around so they just created a more handy solution.
This is the easiest way for people to save money and enjoy the best Qatar has to offer, said. Right now, it has been launched for iOS and Android phones. You can download the app from the store and then in order to operate it, you need to purchase the products. Right now there are options, you can buy a digital product or you can buy a printed product.
Once you buy the contents of the app, you get all the offers and all you have to do is to introduce the pin code, show it to the merchant, the merchant will enter his pin code and the voucher is redeemed. “We also have put it in the way that you can see what are the nearest offers. In the near future, we are going to add some new features and I am very excited for them to arrive. We are going to get special offers,” said Cruz.
My Book Qatar works on the idea that you already live a busy life, so there is no need to waste your valuable time searching through separate voucher clubs for dining, beauty and leisure. It is all there, with easy to follow colour-coded sections for each clearly-defined category. My Book helps people choose how to get the most from every minute of their time here. They will find vouchers to complement their lifestyle, whoever they are, or wherever you are at in their lives. The 2016 edition brings new voucher categories and even more select providers and exclusive member offers.
My Book is the first Qatar-based provider of Buy One Get One Free incentives. It is the ultimate lifestyle guide to entertainment and great experiences amongst more than 600 participating outlets throughout the year.
My Book has two different products in the market. If you have the book, all you have to do is to choose an offer, tear it out and present it for redemption when you ask for your bill. The app was officially launched by Mohamed Saleh, Managing Director and Founder of My Book Qatar along with Faisal Arakji, Chairman, My Book Qatar and Waddah Sadek, CEO of Allied Group.
