HEC Paris welcomes new batch

HEC Paris in Qatar has welcomed the newest batch of participants to its Executive MBA (EMBA) programme.
The EMBA Class of 2017 consists of 45 participants representing 15 nationalities and with an average age of 38. The participants come from various business sectors such as education, consulting, telecommunications, government services, oil and gas, healthcare, aviation, financial services, and construction. Their primary aim is to further advance their professional and career growth and promote the sustainable growth and development objectives of their organisations.
The new participants were welcomed by Prof Laoucine Kerbache, dean and CEO, HEC Paris in Qatar, followed by an overview by Barbara Miller, programme head of international EMBA and mobility. Three HEC Paris EMBA alumni Nasser al-Ansari, chairman of QDVC; Abdulla al-Mehshadi, CEO of Msheireb Properties; and Aysha al-Mudahka, CEO of QBIC, also shared words of encouragement with the participants.
Prof Kerbache said, “The continued demand and popularity of our HEC Executive MBA programme among business executives from Qatar and the region is reflective of our high quality curriculum, which takes into account the latest regional and global trends in executive management, leadership and entrepreneurship.”
“In welcoming them into the HEC Paris executive community, we are confident that these participants will have a positive impact on the performances of their business organisations and they will lead them to new and greater heights,” he added.
The 16-month practical and intense programme has been developed to provide executives with an understanding of the social, economic and environmental aspects of international business.
