Ooredoo revamps Hala MIPs

Ooredoo has announced the revamp of Hala Daily and Weekly Mobile Internet Packs (MIPs), as the company pushes to offer an enhanced experience on the Ooredoo Supernet.
The new Mobile Internet Packs will include two daily and two weekly options, enabling customers to clearly choose the amount they need.
As part of the revamp, Ooredoo has introduced a host of giveback options, so that data that is not used can be refunded or carried over to the next pack.
With the revamp, Hala customers can now choose to subscribe to a Hala MIP daily pack with 150MB of data for QR3 per day. Customers who do not use any of the data during the day will not be charged. The second daily bundle will cost QR20 for 1,000MB, and customers will be refunded for any data they do not use during the day.
For customers who want a longer data subscription option, the QR20 weekly MIP will offer 1,000MB of data that can be carried over to the next week’s allowance upon renewal, if the data has not all been used.
Customers can also add an additional 1GB any time they want during the week. Hala customers who want unlimited Internet access on the Ooredoo Supernet can subscribe for QR100 per week (with a fair usage policy of 35GB per week). “With the new Hala MIPs, Ooredoo is currently offering the best Mobile Internet Pack rate in Qatar,” the telecom operator claimed in a statement.
With the launch of the new MIP portfolio, all earlier subscription options will be phased out by March 31.
To subscribe, customers can log on to ooredoo.qa or sign up through the Ooredoo App.
