The Josoor Institute was inspired and developed by the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC), the organisation tasked with delivering the tournament infrastructure for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. It addresses the SC’s strategic goal to ‘build high quality talent and establish a centre of excellence’ and is designed to deliver world-class education and training to the people of Qatar, the Middle East and North Africa (Mena).
The Josoor Institute will train many of the people who will play an integral role in Qatar’s hosting of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. These individuals will then have the knowledge to deliver large-scale sporting and non-sporting events across the region long after 2022. To fulfil its mission, Josoor Institute has partnered with a broad array of industry and academic organisations.
