Jeeves of Belgravia, the London-based garment care company offering dry cleaning and laundry services, has opened its first outlet in the country at The Pearl-Qatar.
Fardan Fahad Hussain Alfardan, general manager, Alfardan Hospitality, opened the boutique by cutting a ribbon on Tuesday.
Tim Grice, general manager, Jeeves of Belgravia-Doha, said the company aims to provide high-class laundry services. “We aim at quality, reliability and punctuality. Above all, we are highly conscious of the environmental aspects and committed to the whole concept by using the Green Earth Cleaning technology.”
“We will soon open outlets in other parts of the country. The next one will be at St Regis Doha. We are already operational in many of the other GCC countries, too,” continued Grice.
According to the official, Jeeves of Belgravia has held a royal warrant for dry cleaning services to the Prince of Wales and his family for the past 34 years.
Located on 30 La Croisette at the Pearl-Qatar, the boutique provides its complimentary collection and delivery services as well as its finest hand valeting. The company also offers its most advanced, eco-friendly techniques in fabric care to clients.
At Jeeves of Belgravia, garments undergo a seven-step process to ensure thorough assessment of each item. The process includes “detailing”, which involves careful inspection of the garments; “stain removal”, performed by professionals using proven traditional and advanced modern techniques; “cleaning”, using the finest, purest and eco-friendly solvents; “hand finishing” to meet the client’s specific requirements; “minor repairs” to check for loose hems, open seams and loose or missing buttons; careful garment “inspection” before delivery; and “packaging” to protect the quality of the garments.
“We will provide requisite skills, equipment and facilities to extend the best possible services. Jeeves of Belgravia, which is known for its close personal attention to details, has mastered the techniques required for such care. With our expertise, we will deliver unrivalled services to our discerning clients,” added Grice.
Founded in 1969, Jeeves of Belgravia is the UK’s leading dry cleaning and laundry company. It combines the tradition of hand valeting with the most advanced techniques in fabric care.
