Sheikh Thani bin Abdullah Foundation for Humanitarian Services (RAF) sent an aid convoy for 6,700 Muslim families of Central Africa, including people in the Kore refugee camp in the Chadian capital N’Djamena.
The campaign is funded by Qatari philanthropists with a total value of QR720,000 to help the families affected by conflicts in Central Africa.
The campaign, carried out in collaboration with Arrashad Development Association, partner of RAF in Chad and the co-ordinating body of Chadian civil society associations, offers basic and essential relief food, including maize, sugar and oil in sufficient quantities, to the families for more than two months.
The distribution work was carries out by residents of the camp near the Chadian border which receives fleeing Muslims from ethnic cleansing in Central Africa.
