More rain is expected in the country until Wednesday, the Qatar Met department has said.
The weather report also states that isolated thunderstorms and gusty winds are likely in offshore areas.
Different parts of the country, including Doha, received heavy to scattered rain on Monday.
In a statement, the Met department said: “The weather system affecting the country is expected to reactivate between Tuesday noon and Wednesday night with chances of scattered rains, which may become thundery at times over some areas between Tuesday night and Wednesday daytime.”
Northwesterly to northeasterly moderate to fresh winds will prevail during this period, with strong winds (blowing at 18-25 knots at times) expected during thundershowers.
The weather charts also indicate that a high-pressure ridge is expected on Thursday, leading to stable weather conditions and a noticeable increase in surface relative humidity at night. There is also a forecast for fog over most areas from late at night until Friday morning.
Tuesday’s forecast for inshore areas is that it will be partly cloudy to cloudy along with scattered rain in some places, which may be accompanied by thunder, by night. Strong winds are also expected.
Offshore areas will see partly cloudy to cloudy conditions. There is also a chance of scattered rain along with thunder at times.

Residents of Doha and other parts of the country experienced a rainy Monday.
The conditions remained overcast for most of the day and light to heavy showers were reported from many places.
Residents took to social media to narrate their experiences through images and videos. While waterlogging was reported from some roads, prompt efforts were made by the authorities to drain out the accumulated water, it was found.
The Ministry of Interior, on its part, advised motorists to drive carefully in the rain. "Driving in rainy condition(s) requires extra attention and control," it said in a tweet.
