Ooredoo expands Smart Wi-Fi portfolio for businesses

Ooredoo has announced an upgrade to its ‘Smart Wi-Fi’ portfolio, which will enable businesses across Qatar to connect and engage their customers.
With the new Smart Wi-Fi Pack, businesses will get connectivity as well as Wi-Fi and a smart customer relationship management platform, all-in-one solution, saving money and the hassle of arranging distinct services.
The service, which is 100% cloud-managed, offers a host of benefits for business customers, including monthly subscriptions and a “no infrastructure cost” set-up. It also removes the hassle of maintaining and upgrading hardware and software-based solutions.
Ooredoo Qatar chief operating officer Yousuf Abdulla al-Kubaisi said, “Ooredoo is a one-stop-shop solution provider for business connectivity and ICT solutions in Qatar. We are the only company providing such a comprehensive solution for the retail sector, which provides everything a company needs to offer walk-in Wi-Fi access through an incredibly easy-to-install solution.”
The Ooredoo Smart Wi-Fi Pack was built to meet the needs of retail businesses across Qatar, enabling high-density in-shop Wi-Fi, tablets and video streaming, as well as location analytics, security and scalability. Originally designed to be used within Ooredoo retail outlets, it has since been expanded as a business solution in response to customer demand.
A significant number of shops and food outlets in Qatar now deploy the solution for their customers, enabling them to enjoy the speed and power of the Ooredoo Supernet.
Ooredoo’s Smart Wi-Fi solutions can be deployed across any industry and can even help companies to generate new incremental revenues, by providing marketing advertising opportunities through the Wi-Fi.
This innovative service illustrates how Ooredoo is pushing forward to be at the forefront of Qatar’s business sector. Smart Wi-Fi benefits include security compliant architecture for centralised visibility, a customised sign-on and integrated dashboard experience.
