Sonam Kapoor is Kalyan Jewellers' global brand ambassador

Kalyan Jewellers, a leading jewellery brand in India and West Asia, has signed film actor and popular style icon Sonam Kapoor as a global brand ambassador to endorse an exquisite range of gold and diamond jewellery.
Sonam Kapoor is currently shooting the brand’s new television commercial, expected to go on air by the end of the month. She will also feature in Kalyan’s customer engagement programmes across its showrooms.
“Sonam embodies the quintessential woman of today – strong-willed, confident and with the courage of her convictions. She has always challenged fashion tradition with her flawless personal style,” said T S Kalyanaraman, chairman and managing director of Kalyan Jewellers.
“As a brand, Kalyan has also challenged industry conventions and set its own path. Sonam’s sense of fashion and style has resonated with people from across the country and her huge popularity as a fashion icon reflects Kalyan Jewellers’ own growth trajectory and positioning in the minds of our customers.’’
Sonam Kapoor said she is thrilled to be the face of Kalyan Jewellers at this exciting time when the company is poised for growth in India and abroad.
“Kalyan has been at the forefront of innovation through its extensive range of designs in contemporary and traditional gold and diamond jewellery. They are one of the few brands taking India to the world and I am proud to be a part of their expansion into global markets.’’
Rajesh Kalyanaraman, executive director, finance, stated that having established itself as a trusted international brand, Kalyan is embarking on a new journey with enhanced focus on localised product merchandise, wider distribution and optimisation of new age media to reach an untapped customer base.
“We believe that Sonam Kapoor as our brand ambassador will exemplify Kalyan’s brand values of timeless elegance and trust,’’ he added.
Sonam Kapoor joins an eclectic group of Kalyan brand ambassadors including Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Prabhu, Shivaraj Kumar and Manju Warrier.
Ramesh Kalyanaraman, executive director, marketing and operations, also thanked Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for augmenting the product propositions of brand Kalyan over the last three years and helping it establish as a leading national brand.
