An expatriate Tunisian motorist was fined QR1,000 for causing injury of another motorists. He was also fined QR10,000 for driving without a valid driving license.
Local Arabic daily Arrayah reported on Saturday that the man was also ordered by a Doha Criminal Court to pay a sum of QR14,000 in collaboration with the concerned insurance company to the injured person as compensation for damages.
The accident took place at the Industrial Area, when the defendant wrongly overtook the vehicle of the victim crashing into his vehicle and causing him a body disability of 7%. Later, it turned out the defendant did not have a valid driving license.
