Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels to take part in International Food Fest

Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels is set to participate in the seventh Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF), which is being organised by Qatar Tourism Authority and Qatar Airways in Doha from March 22 to 28.
This is for the third consecutive year that Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels, the luxury hotel collection managed by Al Rayyan Hospitality, is taking part in the event.
Through its participation in QIFF, Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels “reiterates its commitment to actively promote Qatar as a vibrant and attractive tourist destination while highlighting its world-class services and cultural heritage,” according to a statement.
The festival will provide an opportunity for visitors to taste a wide variety of international culinary options available at the collection’s different restaurants.
“Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels is taking part, for the third time, in the Qatar International Food Festival, which is a major platform for promoting tourism in Qatar and allowing visitors to enjoy an eclectic selection of international cuisines and dishes,” said Amir Golbarg, hotel manager at Souq Waqif
Boutique Hotels.
“This year, we are taking part in the International zone where we will showcase the best of Italian and Asian delicacies, in addition to the traditional dhow, which will feature lots of activities for the whole family, with the aim of promoting the different food and beverage facilities at Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels and supporting Qatar Tourism Authority’s efforts in attracting international events to Doha,” he noted.
“The Qatar International Food Festival has remarkably improved and matured over time in terms of its organisation, presentation and the level of the event’s parallel activities, combining culture, entertainment and a refined gastronomic experience that represent different geographies from around the world,” added Golbarg. “We are proud of being an effective team player within this activity.”
