The three-screen multiplex at LuLu Group’s Al Khor Mall has opened.
The screens, operated by Qatar Bahrain Cinema Company (QBCC), together have a seating capacity of more than 500, with the largest having 277 seats.
A QBCC official told Gulf Times that with the company taking over the operations of the multiplex in Al Khor, the group now has a total of 35 screens in the country.
The multiplexes at City Center Doha and Villaggio have 14 screens each, while the one at Asian Town has four screens.
The multiplex in Al Khor is the first facility of its kind outside Doha. A major opening of the three screens is planned for later, he said.
