The Ministry of Economy and Commerce signed a Memorandum of Understanding yesterday with Qatar University on scholarships and university students training.
The MoU comes within the framework of the ongoing co-operation between the Ministry of Economy and Commerce and Qatar University and the Ministry’s quest to benefit from national cadres to play their role and contribute to pushing forward the wheel of growth and development in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.
The MoU also aims to drawing up successful work policies through investment in Qatar University cadres through public skills programmes in the fields of management, accounting, finance, customer service and leadership, in addition to the development of legal skills to prepare them to join the Ministry of Economy and Commerce.
It aims, at well, to increase the number of academically-sponsored students with special needs and training on English programmes at their different levels as well as professional certificates such as the International Business Driving Licence, International Computer Driving Licence and the Certified Internal Auditor certification.
