Ferrari power, safety showcased at Losail circuit

The Losail International Circuit produced the most sonorous of symphonies during the Passione Ferrari event held recently.
A multitude of Ferraris descended on the Losail Circuit for the seventh iteration of the event organised by Alfardan Sports Motors, the official Ferrari importer in Qatar.
It was a great opportunity for owners and fans to experience the amazing performance of the Ferrari cars in the perfect environment that is a racetrack.
The Ferrari track event,  held over Thursday and Friday, kicked off with a safety demonstration by Corso Pilota drivers, the famous Ferrari team of Italian driving trainers from Maranello. With most of them being former race car drivers, the Corso Pilota drivers helped guests to experience the full potential of the Ferraris at the racetrack.
It began with Ferrari owners and fans assembling at the Ferrari showroom at The Pearl-Qatar from where the parade took off. Guests made their way to the racetrack in a convoy of different Ferrari models. The event brought to the forefront Ferrari’s phenomenal features – from its technological advancement to its sharp responsiveness on a racetrack, captivating guests at every turn.
Apart from the racetrack experience, guests also had other activities to entertain themselves. An interactive wall was installed on site which enabled guests to evaluate their reflex speed, which in turn highlighted the safety aspects of sports driving. There was an F1 simulator which saw a lot of people queuing up for a feel. The kids were kept entertained in a designated play area featuring a small racetrack, a photo booth and a variety of gaming activities. A stand-out attraction at the event was Ferrari’s lifestyle boutique featuring a range of state-of-the-art accessories and products from the brand.
Alfardan Sports Motors general manager Charly Dagher, described the Passione Ferrari event as a unique platform for Ferrari owners and enthusiasts in the country – one that challenges them to race their own Ferraris and discover its ultimate power.
“At Passione Ferrari, we do not just demonstrate the unparalleled speed of the Ferrari, but also focus on maintaining the highest standards of safety while driving. Ferrari Qatar expresses our gratitude to the Corso Pilota drivers for sharing invaluable techniques on driving safe. We continuously strive to build a culture of safety around the Ferrari lifestyle, and encourage customers to experience the same,” he added.
