Free coverage of boxing matches on Ooredoo tv

Ooredoo has announced that its Ooredoo tv service will provide free coverage of two highly anticipated boxing matches during April.

The Manny Pacquiao vs Timothy Bradley for the WBO World Welterweight Championship, and Nonito Donaire vs Zsolt Bedak for the WBO World Super Bantamweight Championship will be available for all Ooredoo tv customers on channel 426 for free.

The fights, which will air on April 10 (Pacquiao vs Bradley) and April 23 (Donaire vs Bedak) will be live for all viewers.

Existing Mozaic TV customers can still view the matches but will have to access the action via the TFC Pay-Per-View service available on channel 510 on Mozaic TV. The bundle price for both the matches will be QR109.

Mozaic TV and Ooredoo Broadband customers can access the fights for free by using Ooredoo tv’s ‘Collect & Go’ service, meaning they can visit any Ooredoo Shop and collect the new Ooredoo tv box. Installation can be done by customers in their own homes.

Ooredoo tv also offers a multi-screen service, so customers can use their Ooredoo Broadband Wi-Fi to enjoy the best drama, comedy, documentaries and hit shows on their smartphones and tablets, while other users enjoy the boxing.

Both live events are brought exclusively by ABS-CBN Middle East (the Filipino Channel) in the Middle East.

Ooredoo tv is available now via Ooredoo Shops and Starlink, TechnoBlue and Jumbo outlets. The service has no upfront charges, no equipment costs and no ongoing contracts.
