Emir receives message from Niger president

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani received a written message from President of Niger Mahamadou Issoufou, dealing with bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing them.
HE the Foreign Minister’s Assistant for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad al-Muraikhi received the message during a meeting yesterday with Niger’s ambassador to Qatar Mubarak Hassan Boubacar.  

Justice Minister meets  Hague
Conference  chief

HE the Minister of Justice Dr Hassan Lahdan Saqr al-Mohannadi met the Secretary-General of the Hague Conference on Private International Law Christophe Bernasconi in Qatar yesterday. Bernasconi is in Doha to participate in the Gulf Regional Seminar on Protecting the Best Interests of the Child in Cross-Border Family Disputes, which is organised by Doha International Family Institute in co-operation with the Ministry of Justice.

Attorney General
holds talks with
top US officials


HE the Attorney General Dr Ali bin Fetais al-Marri met separately in Washington with assistant to the US President Lisa Monaco, and Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson.
During the two meetings, they discussed a number of issues of common concern.
The two meetings were attended by  Qatar’s ambassador to the United States Mohamed Jaham al-Kuwari.
