HE the Minister of Justice Dr Hassan Lahdan Saqr al-Mohannadi met the Secretary-General of the Hague Conference on Private International Law Christophe Bernasconi in Qatar yesterday. Bernasconi is in Doha to participate in the Gulf Regional Seminar on Protecting the Best Interests of the Child in Cross-Border Family Disputes, which is organised by Doha International Family Institute in co-operation with the Ministry of Justice.

HE the Attorney General Dr Ali bin Fetais al-Marri met separately in Washington with assistant to the US President Lisa Monaco, and Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson.
During the two meetings, they discussed a number of issues of common concern.
