There are chances of scattered light rain in some places today, the Qatar Met department has said. The chances of rain will increase between tomorrow evening and Friday morning, according to weather charts.
On Monday, the weather office had said a “trough of low pressure in the upper levels of the atmosphere” was expected to affect the country in the coming few days, with the possibility of rain – along with thunder over some areas – increasing on Thursday and Friday.
The forecast for inshore areas today says slight dust is expected during the day, followed by partly cloudy conditions and a chance of scattered rain in some places at times.
Offshore areas will see partly cloudy to cloudy conditions and there is a chance of scattered rain as well.
The minimum and maximum temperatures in the country today are expected to be 19C and 32C, respectively, with the forecast for Doha being 21C and 30C.
