The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud of Saudi Arabia yesterday met with the ministers of youth and sports of the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) for Arab States, on the sidelines of the 30th GCC youth and sports ministers meeting which concluded in Riyadh yesterday evening .
Qatar’s delegation to the 30th GCC youth and sports ministers meeting was led by HE the Minister of Culture and Sports Salah bin Ghanim bin Nasser al-Ali.
The 30th GCC youth and sports ministers’ meeting discussed a number of topics relating to the promotion of GCC youth and sports joint action through adopting a strategic plan to meet the GCC youth aspirations in order to serve their countries and their people, including appropriate programmes and mechanisms to implement the vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, on the promotion of voluntary work in the Gulf Co-operation Council.
HE al-Ali presented a proposal on the implementation of the vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, through voluntary work programme that involves GCC youth with a view to serving brethren in Syria and Yemen.
