Rotana group’s Centro Capital Doha hotel to open this month

Leading hotel management company Rotana has announced that “preparations are under way in full swing” for the opening of Centro Capital Doha in Bin Mahmoud district, Al Jazeera Street, before the end of this month.
Centro will be the group’s fourth hotel in town, featuring 229 rooms and studios. It will meet the “demands of a new generation of travellers seeking finesse and functionality at reasonable rates,” the company has said in a press statement.
Omer Kaddouri, president and CEO of Rotana, said: “We are delighted to announce that the final preparations are nearing completion for the opening of Centro Capital Doha. It will mark the debut of the Centro brand in town, which is characterised by distinct accommodation in a contemporary environment designed primarily for business travellers who seek exclusive accommodation at affordable prices.”
Kaddouri noted that the demand for affordable accommodation that offered comfort, functionality and style had never been stronger in the region.
“In recent years, Rotana has recognised the arrival of a new generation of travellers, guests who expect the elegance and finesse of a five-star hotel but not its corresponding cost at the end of their stay,” he said, adding that this was the category of guests that drove the conceptualisation of the Centro brand.
The statement said that “great care has been taken in optimising room configurations and styles, which cover the design and functionality of each piece of furniture, innovatively styled bathrooms, the strategic placement of room lighting and controls - including the latest technology and in-room entertainment options.”
The hotel will also feature a lobby designed to help travellers complete their meetings in a “comfortable social atmosphere, supported by high-speed Internet.”  Further, Centro will provide “unique residential spaces in a contemporary environment” to meet the needs of travellers and offer comfort to them.
Centro Capital Doha will offer two fully-equipped meeting rooms and recreational facilities, including a swimming pool, a gym and three F&B outlets: c.taste – the all-day dining restaurant, c.mondo – the hotel bar and c.deli - Centro’s 24-hour take-away dining concept.
