Doha Bank unveils festive promotion for credit cardholders

Doha Bank has unveiled a summer festive promotion, offering rewards and benefits for premium credit cardholders.
The initiative comes prior to the upcoming holiday season celebrations.
Customers gearing up for the summer holidays, who apply between now and April 30 for any of the three premium credit cards - Primary Al Riyada Visa Infinite, Primary Visa Platinum Credit Card and Primary Visa Al Asriya Ladies Credit Card - will enjoy a complementary Doha Bank-branded cabin bag to “travel in style”, the bank has said in a statement.
Further, as the holiday season approaches, all Doha Bank premium credit cardholders who are planning to book their upcoming vacation can now buy airline tickets with all or any of these premium credit cards and get benefits. The deals include complementary travel insurance each time one purchases airline tickets.
Doha Bank Group CEO Dr R Seetharaman said, “This year, Doha Bank’s summer premium credit card offer will be one of the most rewarding promotions that will help our customers gain more value from their vacation spending and summer purchases by using their cards.”
New customers “now have additional reasons to apply for a credit card and enjoy the benefits of this campaign along with the “free for life” feature and Qatar’s most generous loyalty programme offered on Doha Bank’s Dream cards,” according to the statement.
“Whether you are booking a hotel room, dining or buying designer wear anywhere in the world, practically any purchase or cash withdrawal made worldwide while on holiday will be generously rewarded with loyalty points,” the bank said.
Visa Platinum Credit Card and Visa Al Asriya Ladies Credit Cards are offered free for life. Existing Visa cardholders can also apply for supplementary Visa Al Asriya Ladies Credit Cards for their spouses and still benefit.
Those who apply for Visa Infinite Platinum Credit Card get exclusive free access to the Oryx lounge at Hamad International Airport.

Dears, i'm a Doha bank account holder, last month i approached C ring road branch to upgrade with my LULU credit cars's limit. Then the customer care officer advised me to take a new dream card free for life with another cash limit instead of increase the existing card limit. Now i learned that Doha bank applied annual fee QR 100 for all cards & there will be a penalty of QR 300 if i cancel that dream card!!!!!!! I'm clearly trapped by them - pls help me with advise if any one can\ Thanks Abdul Azeez Ameen
