The Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC), in collaboration with Home Centre, has announced the recall of Betrib dining tables due to the possibility of the glass top collapsing on account of a manufacturing defect.
Customers are advised to immediately stop using the table, not to keep any items on the table and to return the product to Home Centre.
The MEC said the recall campaign comes within the framework of its ongoing efforts to protect consumers and ensure that suppliers follow up on product defects and recall defective items.
The MEC said that it will coordinate with the supplier to ensure the recall of defective products and will communicate with customers to ensure that the necessary procedures have been taken.
