HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani held talks with leaders on the sidelines of the 13th Organisation of Islamic Co-operation (OIC) summit here yesterday.
The Emir held a meeting with the Chairman of the Presidential Council of Libya and the Prime Minister of the Government of National Accord Fayez al-Sarraj and the delegation accompanying him.
Bilateral relations and the means to enhance them and issues of joint interest, focusing particularly on the latest developments in Libya, were discussed.
The topics on schedule for the 13th OIC summit were also discussed.
HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani also held separate meetings with Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko and the UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al-Qaiwain, Sheikh Saud bin Rashid al-Mu’alla.
Talks during the meetings dealt with bilateral relations and means of enhancing them as well a number of topics on the agenda of the Summit.
The meetings were attended by members of the official delegation accompanying HH the Emir.
Earlier yesterday the Emir participated in the 13th Session of the Islamic Summit Conference held under the theme of “Unity and Solidarity for Justice and Peace”, at the Convention Centre in Istanbul.
