Ooredoo customers can now enjoy 4G roaming services on 57 networks around the world, as the company continues to add roaming partners to set a new record of 654 roaming
partners in 2016.
As a result of the company’s ambitious growth strategy, Ooredoo can offer 57 international 4G-compatible roaming partners, and is on track to provide the highest number of roaming partners of any regional telecommunications company for its customers.
Ooredoo customers can benefit from 4G roaming in 38 countries on 57 networks, with the company most recently adding Telus Canada, Bouygues in France, Singtel in Singapore, Belgacom in Belgium and Telefonica Spain to its global footprint.
“The growth of our roaming partnership footprint enables customers to keep using their Ooredoo SIM to enjoy high-speed data and voice services in popular destinations around the world, and be confident that they will benefit from the great value provided by Ooredoo,” said Yousuf Abdulla al-Kubaisi, chief operating officer, Ooredoo Qatar.
Ooredoo’s 4G roaming enables customers to connect to international 4G networks, offering much faster speeds than 3G Internet, and ‘take advantage of the super speeds and smooth browsing experience’ to stay in touch, check e-mails and video call home even while travelling abroad.
