Milipol Qatar has announced the official launch of its newly designed website, describing it as “more informative, more engaging and more interactive.”
The launch comes after several months of review and strategic planning, keeping brand awareness needs in mind, according to a statement.
“The new website has been designed to provide the ultimate user-friendly experience with improved functionality and navigation right through, allowing viewers to access material easily with the option to share information across key social networking channels,” the statement noted.
Created with the user firmly in mind, the website has been designed using the latest technology so that the site is compatible with today’s browsers and devices, including a mobile version tentatively scheduled for the end of this month.
“The website’s refreshed and attractive new look, combined with enhanced content and social media optimisation, allow viewers to better interact with Milipol Qatar online,” said Muriel Kafantaris, exhibition director, Milipol events.
The new features contain integrated social media buttons for Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook in order to nurture improved communication with the online community.
Work has also been done on the content in order to offer the “most relevant, accurate and updated information,” especially on Qatar. It will also have a new section dedicated to the events during the exhibition and the new version of the online catalogue, which provides more detailed information on exhibitors, their brands, products and services, etc.
A light Arabic version is available, too, for the benefit of a wider audience.
As the website gains momentum, content will be updated with the latest news and events, articles, booking information, visitor guides and more.
Soon, Milipol Qatar will launch its own Scoop.it newspaper. This is the first of its kind in Qatar, designed to gather news from the web about Qatar, the security industry and Milipol Qatar. As it grows in popularity, the Scoop.it newspaper will be plugged to the website with a view to monitoring the security industry.
Milipol Qatar 2016 will take place from October 31 to November 2 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre.
