HE the Adviser at the Emiri Diwan and Qatar’s candidate to the post of the Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (Unesco) Dr Hamad bin Abdulaziz al-Kuwari met Tunisia’s Minister of Education Neji Jellou in Tunis yesterday. During the meeting, al-Kuwari presented his plan as Qatar’s nominee to the post of Unesco chief. Minister Jellou praised Qatar’s active role in supporting Unesco and welcomed Qatar’s nomination of Dr al-Kuwari, stressing Tunisia’s support to this nomination and wished him success.
