Oman Qatar Insurance Company, (OQIC), a subsidiary of Qatar Insurance Group, has announced the opening of a new branch at Muscat’s Avenues Mall. The branch was inaugurated by Ali bin Fahad al-Hajri, Qatar’s ambassador to Oman, in the presence of Salem al-Mannai, deputy group president and CEO – QIC Mena region, Ewen McRobbie, CEO of OQIC, and staff. During the inauguration, ambassador al-Hajri said: “I would like to congratulate OQIC on the successful opening of its branch at Avenues Mall. Not only would the new branch facilitate employment and boost the local economy, but also provide distinct service benefits to its customers residing in the Greater Muscat area.” Al-Mannai added, “The new branch provides customers with improved access to our products and services and allows us to enhance further our understanding of our customers’ insurance needs.”
