Ooredoo yesterday announced that it will be the Official Telecom Partner of the Qatar Cup 2016, organised by Qatar Star League (QSL).

The Qatar Cup, previously referred to as the Heir Apparent Cup, has become one of the most popular football competitions in the country, pitting the top four teams in the league against each other to win the ‘all-star’ final.
As a Telecom Partner, Ooredoo bring results and highlights of the matches to the widest possible audience and support fans with incredible coverage via the Ooredoo Supernet.

Woqod sign on as Qatar Cup sponsor
The QSL have confirmed that Woqod have signed an agreement as Official Fuel Business partner for the 2016 Qatar Cup. Speaking on the agreement, Hassan al-Kuwari director of Events at the QSL welcomed Woqod as a sponsor for the Qatar Cup. “Fuel is important in driving any competition and I am proud that we have another major Qatari company as a sponsor, our arrangement means we can now sell tickets across key Woqod outlets, reaching more people than ever before.”

Al Jaber Watches sign on
for the 2016 Qatar Cup
The QSL is delighted to announce that Al Jaber Watches has signed a deal to be the official provider for the man of the match awards and referees gifts for the Qatar Cup 2016. Hassan al-Kuwari director of Events said: “Firstly I would like to thank Al Jaber for being here and taking part in this ceremony.”
Speaking at the signing of the agreement, managing partner of Al Jaber watches Mohamed Yousef al-Jaber said. “I want to thank the QSL for this fantastic opportunity to sponsor the Qatar Cup competition. This is the first time we have been involved in such a prestigious football competition and look forward to future endeavours”
The first match of the 2016 Qatar Cup will be played this Sunday at Al Sadd stadium.
