HE the Minister of Economy and Commerce Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohamed al-Thani will lead today’s opening of the fifth edition of Cityscape Qatar at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC).
Running parallel to the three-day event will be two key content-rich events, Cityscape Qatar Market Overview and Cityscape Qatar Talks 2016.
Cityscape Qatar Market Overview will feature an industry-led panel discussion that will examine the role of real estate in achieving Qatar’s long term goals, while Cityscape Qatar Talks 2016 will provide attendees with insights on a number of wide ranging topics.
Cityscape Qatar 2016 also witnessed a 10% growth with more than 90 exhibitors participating in this year’s event, and showcasing both new and current projects, as well as exclusive deals which will only be available to visitors during the event.
Rounding off the lengthy list of exhibitors from local companies, including the event’s Platinum Sponsor, Just Real Estate (JRE), which will also be launching at this year’s event.
The company will be joined by Al Bandary Real Estate (Al Bandary), United Development Company (UDC), Ezdan Holding Group (Ezdan), Gold Bay Real Estate, and John Taylor.
Exhibition director Ahmed Zakaria said: “We remain committed to supporting and actively promoting the real estate sector in Qatar. We hope that we continue to build on the successes of previous years with an abundance of learning and networking opportunities and a number of landmark deals.”
There will be a number of key projects on display during Cityscape, with the exhibition placing a greater emphasis on residential properties, in order to meet Qatar’s growing population and provide appropriate housing solutions for companies and residents in Qatar.
For residents looking to a rent a property closer to the heart of Doha, Al Bandary will be exhibiting Jumanah 2 located at Porto Arabia, The Pearl-Qatar. Meanwhile, JRE will be exhibiting THE e18hteen, a luxury commercial office tower located at Marina Commercial District in Lusail City
JRE chairman Nasser al-Ansari said: “This event will be the launching pad for JRE in the market, as it represents an exceptional platform to showcase our portfolio led by THE e18hteen at Lusail city.”

Cityscape Qatar 2016 will also feature exclusive deals and special offers for prospective buyers who are looking to buy a new home, rental property, holiday home, or investment opportunity in Qatar and globally.
A number of the exclusive offers include the Ezdan Palace Hotel located on Al Shamal Road across Ezdan Mall. Ezdan will provide visitors the opportunity to attend the hotel’s grand opening.
TGP Invest (Turkey Property Platform) will be exhibiting its Luxury Residence Project, located in Istanbul. It will be offering potential investors up to 15% discount on cash sales or with a 35% down payment, offering a 5% discount and no interest.
