The third meeting of Qatar-Belarus joint committee, which concluded yesterday, was jointly headed by HE the Minister of Economy and Commerce Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohamed al-Thani and Belarus Minister of Trade Vladimir Koltovich.
After the two-day meeting, both parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding on co-operation between the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Qatar, and an agreement on co-operation between the Belarusian Republican Unitary Enterprise of Export-Import Insurance, Belexitmgarant, and export-import programme Tasdeer of Qatar Development Bank.
The two parties agreed to take steps to further enhance co-operation in various economic, investment and commercial fields, including finance, agriculture, energy, industry, technology, education, sports, transportation.
