The Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC) has closed down a garage in the Industrial Area for a month for displaying counterfeit auto spare parts of a registered international brand. The action was taken in accordance with Article No 7 of Law No 8 for 2008 on consumer protection. A MEC inspector is seen enforcing the closure of the garage.
