Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met in Ankara yesterday with Qatar’s Minister of State for Defence Affairs HE Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah. During the meeting, they discussed relations between Qatar and Turkey, and ways to enhance them, and exchanged views on a number of issues of common interest, especially in the military fields, besides overall situation in the Arab and international arenas. HE Dr al-Attiyah also met separately with Turkish Defence Minister Ismet Yilmaz and Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu to discuss issues of mutual interest and ways to develop them to serve the common interests of two countries.
