Ooredoo yesterday announced the launch of ‘Ooredoo Fan Cup’ to celebrate the passion that Qatar has for its sporting teams during the most prestigious tournament of the year, the Emir Cup.
The competition, which was launched in collaboration with the Qatar Football Association (QFA), aims to help raise awareness and excitement for the upcoming Emir Cup final, set to be held on May 20.
The Ooredoo Fan Cup has been designed to allow football fans across Qatar to vote for their favourite Emir Cup participating team, and the team with the most fan points at the end of the contest will be announced the winner of the Ooredoo Fan Cup before the final match of the Emir Cup.
All Emir Cup fans can vote for their team by simply posting a video or photo on the dedicated website www.ooredoo.qa/fanscup or record a message at the dedicated Fan Cup booth in Landmark Mall.
The booth will include an interactive room where fans can record their participation in the contest and will be open until May 18 from 10am to 10pm every day.
As the main telecommunication partner and three-year sponsor of the Emir Cup, Ooredoo is encouraging as many people as possible to attend the matches, support the teams and enjoy the incredible atmosphere.
